The Wild Hare

316 White Bridge Road
Nashville, TN 37209
The Wild Hare could be one of the most outwardly deceptive eateries I have visited lately.  From the outside, one might not realize that it is a restaurant filled with ingenious dishes, fantastic patriotic art and a soul that makes its food All-American yet totally original!  The servers must be hand-picked by the owners as our server was energetic, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, but most importantly an absolute delight!  Lost on so many large restaurants these days are the personal touches that make a dining experience more than just a meal.  After we ate on fried calamari, fried mushrooms, various types of pizzas and a BLT that was to die for, the owner came out to the table, sat down and inquired about our thoughts on everything from the menu to the atmosphere.  The thought that our opinion might mean something and that he would take the time out on a busy night to come chat it up with us was refreshing and definitely made an impression.  All-in-all I think that The Wild Hare is an absolute must for anyone looking to try something new or looking to establish a new staple restaurant in your diet.  Rest assured the meal will be great, the atmosphere will be upbeat and the wait will be worth it!
Of course we had to have a round, or two, of wine!
